Application of stud welding in the construction of Shanghai global financial center

 

 

 

The specification of welding studs in Shanghai World Financial Center is Φ 19 × 100. There are either direct welding studs on steel beams or through welding studs. All the 1-80 layers are stud welded by KOCO welding machine. After 80 floors, it is higher than the nearby Jinmao Building and becomes the tallest building in Shanghai. At the expert review meeting on the standard of technical specification for stud welding, the experts on the construction of Shanghai global financial center put forward to me: the construction of the global center will soon enter the lightning season, can we provide "lightning proof stud welding machine"? After many months of research and development, our institute has successfully developed the "lightning bolt welding machine" and applied it to the bolt welding of more than 80 layers in Shanghai global finance. More than 3000 bolts are welded in each layer, about 60000 in total. The welding machine not only meets the needs of bolt welding, but also has the function of lightning protection. Conclusion: the first pass rate is more than 89.8%, the bend pass rate is more than 94.5%, the tilt pass rate is more than 97%, and the number of pores under 3 is less than 2.3%. According to the statistics of the qualified rate of stud penetration welding quality, the domestic stud welding equipment and technology have reached a high level.
